Oxygen Therapy

 Oxygen and Cancer

Oxygen is one of the most important elements for life on earth.  In a medical emergency, we first check if the person is getting oxygen (airway and breathing) when we try to help.  We can survive for only a short time without oxygen.

Oxygen is used to make energy in our cells through a process called oxidative phosphorylation. This process is what allows us to be large, multi-cellular organisms instead of small, single-celled organisms.  The other way we make energy is through the process of glycolysis.  This can be done with oxygen or without oxygen.  When energy is made without oxygen it’s called fermentation.  All cells have this capability it has been present for the last 3.5 billion years or more.

Otto Warburg, a Nobel Prize winning scientist, found that there was a prime cause for cancer on the cellular level: the replacement of oxygen respiration by the fermentation of sugar. He did an experiment where he put tissue samples into different levels of oxygen concentration.  He found that where there wasn’t enough oxygen the cells would die; where there was slightly not enough oxygen, the cells switched from using oxygen to fermentation and became primitive cells or cancer cells.

Otto Warburg said, “All normal body cells meet their energy needs by respiration of oxygen, whereas cancer cells meet their energy needs in great part by fermentation. All normal body cells are thus obligate aerobes (need oxygen), whereas all cancer cells are partial anaerobes (partly need oxygen). From the standpoint of the physics and chemistry of life this difference between normal and cancer cells is fundamental. Oxygen gas, the donor of energy in plants and animals is dethroned in the cancer cells and replaced by an energy yielding reaction of the lowest living forms, namely, a fermentation of glucose.”

Cancer is a cellular survival mechanism where it reverts back to a more primitive cell that grows any way it wants and lives on the fermentation of sugar.

There are many different ways to get the body oxygenated:

  • Breathing is a given, but it is very important to take in fresh air each day that is full of oxygen.
  • Exercise is important as it gets the circulation going to mobilize the oxygen.
  • Hydrotherapy is the use of hot and cold water to increase the circulation of oxygen and nutrients to parts of the body that have low circulation i.e. places that have disease.
  • Neural Therapy is all about finding and treating the areas that are low in oxygen so that they can have specifically enhanced circulation so the cells can thrive.
  • Stabilized oxygen drops from different companies are helpful.
  • Magnesium Oxide/Ozonide products like Homozone are cleansing as well as oxygenating.
  • E.W.O.T. is Exercise with Oxygen Therapy.  Using an aerobic exercise machine and breathing in high concentrations of oxygen.
  • HBO, Hyperbaric Oxygen is used in some clinics and hospitals to increase the oxygen in the body.

If you want to prevent Cancer then you need to have enough oxygen for your cells.

OXIDATION

William Turska, N.D., N.M.D. – 1951

Health is dependent almost entirely upon a pure, healthy blood and general humoral circulation. Every organ, nerve, tissue and cell depends on vital blood and humoral fluid for nourishment and elimination of wastes. When these vital fluids are impaired, the system begins a general degeneration and alteration from the norm. The object of respiration is to bring atmospheric oxygen in close relationship with the hemoglobin of the blood and permit the interchange of oxygen with carbon dioxide, thus eliminating this end product of oxidation along with other products in minute quantities. In the process of respiration, waste products are exposed to the action of oxygen and they are combusted, producing body heat. In the living organism, heat is continually being generated through the chemical action of oxygen upon carbon. When the blood receives sufficient oxygen to unite with the carbon, carbon dioxide is formed, which is in a suitable state to be eliminated. The process of oxidation is complete, the body temperature is maintained at normal, the organs perform their functions properly and the system is in a condition to resist the influence of microbes.

When, however, an insufficient amount of oxygen is received by the blood, carbon is incompletely burned, and carbon monoxide is produced. Through it’s poisonous influence, the system becomes debilitated, or ‘run down’. Carbon monoxide is an irritant to the nervous system, it attaches to the hemoglobin in red blood cells, and it interferes with organ functions. The body temperature is reduced below normal (98.6o F.), which renders the system incapable of resisting the influence of various bacteria, viruses and yeast. Disease is the result. Subnormal temperatures indicate under-oxidation, or hypoxia. The under-oxidized person will present a host of symptoms: headache, backache, insomnia, vertigo, constipation, asthenia, anemia, and non-specific gastro-intestinal upsets. Under-oxidation renders the system susceptible to a multiplicity of disorders, which will worsen and become chronic over time.

Scientists long ago recognized the great oxidizing and antiseptic properties of Ozone, but owing to it’s irritating effects, when used in raw form, it was abandoned from the therapeutic calendar, except in a few instances. The therapeutic abilities of Ozone were in evidence, but the manner of application would not allow reliable results. With modern equipment and protocols, Ozone is now able to be used to great therapeutic effect. It has been found that Ozone potentiates hormones, botanicals, vitamins and many drugs by an amount ranging from 10 – 100%. In addition, it has been demonstrated that Ozone treatment of milk completely eliminates any harmful bacteria without having to resort to pasteurization, which destroys beneficial enzymes.
