The full-page ad in Parade magazine showed a woman in a short skirt and high heels under a headline, "KILLER LEGS."
"Even young, healthy legs could hide a killer blood clot.... If the
blood clot breaks loose and travels to the lung, it can be fatal," the
ad said.
